Types of Cameras

Various types of cameras used in TTFT security systems

Inspection

Focus and studies the face and facial expression of the target

Identification

Used to identify trespassers in any establishment. Focus on target’s face.

Recognition

Recognition of previously identified targets. Focus on whole body and surrounding area

Observation

Used to control and observe crowd/gatherings/public events. Focus on whole body and surrounding area.

Detection

Detects nature of environment, direction and overall appearance. Focus on whole body and surrounding area.

Monitoring

Detects existence of targets without recognizing. Focus on whole body and distant surroundings.

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range)

Enables high dynamic range imaging. It can handle extreme lighting conditions and record in higher light depth. Works efficiently in bright and dark conditions

Camera Models

Key features of cameras

High Resolution with brightness, contrast, and color controls that compensate for different light environments

Discrete Positioning makes it difficult for the intruders to predict the areas of surveillance which helps largely in control of any kind of malpractices.

Weatherproof domes with IP65, IP66, and IP67 ratings and specialized outdoor domes supported by integrated temperature gauges and heaters enable efficient surveillance in all kinds of extreme weathers.

Vandal Resistant dome cameras with IK08 and IK10 ratings, offers high level mechanical protection, hence are difficult to tamper or dismantle with due to the highly protected enclosure

Sleek Design makes the cameras appealing to high end business applications.

Varifocal Lens along with encasing helps to focus lens to variable distances and angles by accommodating lens movement within the case.

Built-in IR Illuminators enables efficient low light performance such as night vision.

Video Management System

A video management system, often known as video management software or a video management server, is a security camera system component that performs the following functions

Video from cameras and other sources is collected.

The video is recorded and saved to a storage device.

Provides a user interface for viewing live video as well as accessing previously recorded video.

It can be the software component of a network video recorder or a digital video recorder, although in general, a VMS is more advanced and offers more options and features than a packaged NVR

A network video recorder (NVR) is a customised computer system that comprises software that records digital video to a disc drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, or other mass storage device. There is no dedicated video capturing hardware in an NVR. The software, on the other hand, is normally run on a dedicated device with an embedded operating system. Standard operating systems, processors, and video management software, on the other hand, are employed to offer improved functionality and serviceability. In an IP video surveillance system, an NVR is generally used.

A Digital Video Recorder records digital video to a hard drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card, SSD, or other local or networked mass storage device. Set-top boxes with direct to disc recording, portable media players and TV gateways with recording capability, and digital camcorders are all included in this category. Personal computers are frequently connected to video capture equipment and used as DVRs; in these circumstances, the video recording software is an inherent part of the DVR.
